The November 2025 SAMS update provides a focused snapshot of global sanctions developments across North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region.
In total, 326 individuals and entities were newly designated during the month. The U.S. OFAC led the activity, adding 63 individuals, 90 entities, 7 aircraft, and 10 vessels. Global Affairs Canada followed with sanctions on 13 individuals and 110 businesses.
The UK HM Treasury introduced sanctions against 14 individuals and 10 entities, while Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade added 9 additional names to its list.
These updates were incorporated into the SAMS database in real time, helping organizations maintain consistent and up-to-date sanctions screening.
