We are excited to share the July 2025 edition of our SAMS monthly series, wherein we bring you a consolidated view of the monthly changes to all major global sanctions lists.

Approximately 818 people and organizations were added to the global major sanctions list in the month of July 2025. Leading the plot, United Kingdom HM Treasury expanded its database by 260 names. The United States’ OFAC sanctioned 249 names, while 61 individuals and 93 entities were sanctioned by the European Union.

The Global Affairs Canada sanctioned 149 individuals. Australian Department of Foreign Affairs sanctioned 2 individuals. Each 2 entities were added to the sanctions list by SECO Switzerland and UN’s Security Council.

All these names were updated in our proprietary database in real-time, ensuring our clients always stay globally and locally compliant.
