We are pleased to present the December 2025 edition of our SAMS monthly series, which provides you with a comprehensive overview of the monthly modifications to all significant international sanctions lists.

In December 2025, 1205 individuals and groups were added to the list of major sanctions worldwide. Leading the list, the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs added 331 individuals, 101 entities and 45 vessels to its database. SECO Switzerland sanctioned 211 businesses, 116 vessels and 37 individuals, while the United Kingdom's HM Treasury's OFAC sanctioned 127 names.

The United States’ OFAC sanctioned 32 individuals, 43 entities and 39 vessels, and 109 names were added by Global Affairs Canada to the list.

2 entities and 12 individuals were sanctioned by the European Union.

All these names were updated in our proprietary database in real time, ensuring our clients always stay globally and locally compliant.
