We are pleased to present the April 2025 edition of our SAMS monthly series, which provides you with a comprehensive overview of the monthly modifications to all significant international sanctions lists.

In April 2024, 4395 individuals and groups were added to the list of major sanctions worldwide. Leading the list, United Kingdom's HM Treasury added 3335 individuals and 848 entities to its database. United States’ OFAC sanctioned 59 businesses, 41 vessels and 23 individuals, while the SECO Switzerland (European Union) sanctioned 40 names.

27 individuals and 2 were sanctioned by the European Union. Australian Department of Foreign Affairs added 12 names to their database. 8 names were approved by the Global Affairs Canada.

All these names were updated in our proprietary database in real-time, ensuring our clients always stay globally and locally compliant.
